Jafar stated, “We urge the people of Kano to stand united against this judgement and fight for the reinstatement of their respected Emirate.

“The Kano Democratic Vanguard remains committed to supporting the rightful Emir, Ado Bayero, and the people of Kano in their struggle against oppression.

“We demand that the judiciary reverses this judgement and reinstates the rightful Emir of Kano.

“The Kano Democratic Vanguard calls upon all citizens of Kano to come together and voice their concerns against this injustice, demanding the restoration of their esteemed traditional institution.”
