In an effort to unite and propel Jaba Local Government towards a brighter future, the newly established Larai Gida-Gida Mobilisation Group held its inaugural meeting today in Kaduna.
The meeting brought together key political stakeholders, community representatives, youth organisations, and civil society groups, marking the start of a movement dedicated to transformative governance in the region.
According to the movement’s convener, Mr Williams Ishaku, Larai Gida-Gida Mobilisation Group stated that the group is committed to driving positive change, ensuring good governance, and promoting policies that will benefit all citizens of Jaba Local Government.
Mr Ishaku also expressed optimism about the future, stating: “Today’s gathering marks the beginning of our journey towards a brighter future. We are determined not to allow backwardness to continue. We will push forward with our agenda for progress and development of kaduna State and Jaba lacal government.”
The meeting was attended by various stakeholders, including party representatives, community leaders, youth organizations, and civil society groups. Key resolutions adopted during the meeting include:
1.Uniting stakeholders behind a shared vision.
2. Promoting inclusive and participatory governance.
3. Supporting policies that benefit the citizens of Jaba Local Government.
The group aims to engage with local communities, bridging gaps between leaders and the people to ensure effective communication of needs and concerns.
The Group urged members to centred on advocacy for policies that promote equitable development, economic empowerment, and social cohesion.
