Group under the auspices of ‘Sustainable Initiative for Development’ (SID), has ranked Governor Uba Sani Commissioner’s performance in an orderly manner.
The group in a statement released to newsmen on Sunday by its Director of Research and Coordination, Hameed Yazeed, said they are committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance in Kaduna.
According to the forum, over the years, their organization has diligently scrutinized the performance of the state Commissioners across various ministries, adding their assessment was based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as hard work, commitment to duty, and activities carried out in alignment with their ministries mandate.
” After a careful evaluation, we are pleased to present to you the rankings of the State Commissioner based on their performance as follows;
1. Abubakar Buba – Commissioner of Environment.
2. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali – Commissioner of Community and Rural Development.
3. Benjamin Kumai Gugong – Commissioner of Youth and Sports.
4. Muhammed Sani Bello – Commissioner of Education.
5. Sadiq Mamman Lagos – Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
6. Patience Fakai – Commissioner of Business Innovation.
7. Sule Shu’abu – Commissioner of Justice.
8. Samuel Aruwan – Over Seer – Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs.
9. Shizzer Nasara Joy Bada – Commissioner of Finance.
10. Umma K. Ahmad – Commissioner of Health.
11. Mukhtar K. Ahmad – Commissioner of Budget and Planning.
12. Murtala Muhammad Dabo – Commissioner of Agriculture.
13. Sallisu Rabi – Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development.
14. Ibrahim Hamza – Commissioner of Public Works and Infrastructure.
According to them, the ranking was a reflection of the Commissioner’s demonstrated efforts and achievements in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities while commending those who have shown exceptional dedication and urged them to continue their exemplary service to the people of Kaduna State.
” However, we also recognize the need for continuous improvement and accountability. For commissioners who have ranked lower, we encourage them to take our assessment as constructive feedback and strive to enhance their performance for the betterment of their State.
The group further expressed gratitude for the Commissioner’s leadership and commitment to the development of Kaduna State, stressing the forum remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote transparency, accountability, and good governance.
