Mr Abubakar Sadiq an electrician at Wusasa by kufena Zaria, Kaduna State has pleaded with Kaduna State Government to empower small scale businesses to boost socio-economic condition in the state.
According to Menorah News,Sadiq said the gesture would alleviate the suffering of people and improve the socioeconomic development of Kaduna.
According to him, government can be able to do so through Northern Nigerian Electrical Practitioners and Engineers Forum (NNEPEF) a union created to assist each member.
He added that the union is been assisting members and with support of government a lot of success will be achieved as well as improve the Internally Generated Revenue in the state and county at large.
“The union has been helping it’s members, even me I was very happy for it, Because last year one of our members has given me an opportunity of a work in kano.
“White collar Jobs are no longer available we are appealing to our government to come to our aid to progress and to also be employers of labour in our various communities.
“I attended obtained my primary school certificate at Tsoho LGEA primary 2006 and then proceeded to further my secondary education at GSS kofar kibo Zaria and I am now in this profession to earn a living and assist others”, narrated his pain.
According to him it is quite challenging to make ends, he decided to pull out from all criminal act to be responsible citizen and make money for myself.
Sadiq further narrated that with all his experience for now there is no job and it is frustrating hence the need for government intervention.
