The Managing Director, Kaduna State Road Agency (KADRA) Dr. Abdullahi Ahmed, was on Wednesday, conferred with the Best Team Player of the year Award.

PUNCH reports that the award was in recognition of his outstanding display of excellence in effective service delivery and consolidating Governor Uba Sani’s SUSTAIN AGENDA in promoting infrastructural development across the State.

The Acting President of the Forum, Arc. Samuel Yakubu, said Ahmed nomination followed an established broad criteria of consistency and meaningful participation in community development and rendering unsolicited, selfless, and philanthropic services to humanity.

According to him, his sacrifice and exceptional service delivery adjudge to be outstanding, positive, and beneficial to the entire people of Kaduna State.

” Our coming together to present this award is rooted in the realism that we are stronger together if we want an inclusive leadership that will secure and unite our State.

” The Award aimed at bringing to the center-stage for the celebration of individuals whose contributions and achievements have brought impacts and developments.

” Our vision is to inspire and raise more professionals to occupy offices like this for effective service delivery in our society,” he added.

Yakubu explained, that as a Professional body and key stakeholders in the State, they’ve carefully followed the activities of the KADRA Managing Director in the media in promoting and consolidating Governor Uba Sani’s SUSTAIN AGENDA, and have resolved to bestowed him with “the “BEST TEAM PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD” for his invaluable contribution.

He said, the Award ceremony was a solemn and patriotic event of their forum for individuals and brands who have distinguished themselves in the service of their State and humanity following their principles and beliefs.

” The Southern Kaduna Professionals Forum (SKPF) was registered last year with CAC, and our members are drawn from different professional bodies such as Lawyers, Medical Doctors, Lecturers, Architects, Journalists, Pharmacists, Quantity Surveyors, Security experts, among others.

The group, however, commended the Kaduna State Governor, for appointing a Man with proven integrity and a thoroughbred professional to head the agency.

” Governor Uba Sani has shown patriotic commitment and inclusiveness in ensuring a better Kaduna and has performed creditably well and fulfilled most of his electioneering promises in less than two years in office.

” His administration has heralded a paradigm shift in what leadership and approach to tackling issues look like and has left no one in doubt that Kaduna State will be a model of true governance in no distance time,” he stated.

He added that, Governor Uba Sani remained accountable to the people of Kaduna State who voted for him and has secured their loyalty because they believe in the cause he represents.
