“I will work hard to explore opportunities available to uplift the standards of the institute and also make efforts to advance the quality of service and research to enhance the knowledge and administrative competencies in our quest for excellence for members and the general public.”

He said that the knowledge and experience gained from the institute will help him better position the NSCDC.

He further said that personnel will be trained on techniques needed to be professional administrative officers.

Speaking during the investiture, a Fellow and member of the institute, Dr Ohiemero Izegaegbe appealed to the incoming president to establish a secretariat for the institute in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

“ We will push for a functional secretariat in Abuja which will make the institute more effective and increase its output,” he said.(NAN
