Jaba Youths Celebrate Hon. Bawa Appointment By Governor Sule As SSA

In a remarkable show of unity and support, the Jaba Youth Development Association, representing various communities across the Jaba communities in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, gathered today to honour Hon. Bawa Rabo Enam. The visit followed his recent appointment as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, on matters related to the Greater Karu Planning and Development Control Agency (KAPDA).

The courtesy visit took place at Hon. Bawa’s private residence in Anwan/Jaba Panda, Karu Local Government Area. The delegation came with warm wishes, congratulating the newly appointed official on a role that many believe is well-deserved and pivotal for the advancement of Karu and Nasarawa State at large.

During the reception, Hon. Bawa expressed deep appreciation to the Jaba Youth Development Association for their thoughtful visit and unwavering support. He commended the association for recognising the importance of unity and choosing to celebrate his recent milestone.

“I am truly honoured by this show of solidarity,” he said. “This appointment is not just about me but about what we can achieve together as a community. I urge all of you to continue to foster unity, love, and peace not just within Jaba but across Karu and Nasarawa State.”

Hon. Bawa stressed the significance of peaceful coexistence, urging the youths to rise above political or ethnic differences. He highlighted that sustainable development could only be achieved in an environment where harmony and cooperation prevail.

As part of his address, Hon. Bawa encouraged the association to engage in activities that promote community development and inclusive growth. He reminded them of the value of working together to uplift the standards of living within Karu and beyond.

He also used the opportunity to encourage the youths to maintain peaceful relations with other ethnic groups in the state. “Development thrives where there is peace. I urge you to be ambassadors of unity and peace wherever you go,” he said.

In his concluding remarks, Hon. Bawa called on the association members and the wider Jaba community to continue supporting Governor Abdullahi Sule and the All Progressives Congress (APC). He described the governor as a visionary leader committed to the transformation of Nasarawa State, especially through urban development efforts spearheaded by agencies like KAPDA.

“Let us all work hand-in-hand with the government. This is the time to build our communities and make our voices count in governance,” he added.

In appreciation, Speaking on behalf of the association members, Comrade. Victor Tanko the Chairman of the association conveyed the group’s heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Bawa. He praised him for his dedication, tireless service, and consistent commitment to youth empowerment across the Jaba communities, Karu Local Government and beyond.

“Hon. Bawa has shown himself to be a selfless leader who genuinely cares about the youth and the development of our community,” said Comrade. Tanko. “His appointment is well-deserved, and we are immensely proud of him.”

The Chairman also reassured Hon. Bawa of the association continued loyalty and commitment, promising to advocate for peace, unity, and inter-tribal harmony throughout the state.

He took the opportunity to commend Governor Abdullahi Sule for what he described as a visionary and inclusive leadership style.

“We, the Jaba youths, remain fully committed to Governor Abdullahi Sule and the current administration. We believe in the vision of a greater Nasarawa State, and we are ready to play our part in making it a reality.”

He further lauded the Governor for appointing a son of the Jaba tribe in Karu Local Government to a strategic role, noting that this gesture demonstrates the administration’s commitment to youth inclusion and equitable representation.

“We, the Jaba youth in Karu and across Nasarawa, pledge our unwavering support to Governor Sule and the APC government. We will continue to champion peace, support good governance, and contribute positively to the growth of our dear state,” Comrade. Tanko declared.
