Mshelia made the call on Friday in a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna, citing the need for accountability and improved performance in the two critical sectors.

PUNCH reports that his calls come amidst speculation about an imminent cabinet shake-up, following President Tinubu’s inauguration of a 45-man cabinet.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, and other cabinet members were appointed to drive economic growth and development.

Mshelia’s call highlights concerns about the government’s handling of petroleum and energy sectors.

The journalist’s statement emphasizes the importance of accountability in public office.

Mshelia’s demand has sparked interest among Nigerians, eager for effective governance.

“The call for ministers’ removal follows reports of underperformance in key sectors.

President Tinubu’s response to Mshelia’s call remains eagerly awaited.

“Nigerians hope for decisive action to address the country’s economic and energy challenges.

As the situation unfolds, many seek more information on the potential cabinet reshuffle.
