Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has expressed his support for Senator Sunday Marshall Katung’s efforts to establish the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Manchok, Southern Kaduna.
Governor Sani made this known during the flag-off ceremony of the reconstruction of the Madauchi-Madakiya-Kafanchan road.
According to Governor Sani, he wholeheartedly supports Senator Katung’s bill for the establishment of the university because he also believes in the importance of having such an institution in Southern Kaduna. He emphasized the benefits that the university would bring to the youth not only in Southern Kaduna but also across the state.
Governor Sani, who himself has served as a lawmaker, understands the value of collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government. He called on lawmakers from Kaduna State, both at the national and state levels, to join hands and work together for the development and progress of the state.
The Governor commended Senator Katung and other lawmakers in the House of Representatives for their dedication and urged the public to support their efforts. He expressed his confidence in the commitment of lawmakers from Kaduna State, stating that he believes they are among the most dedicated in the country.
Governor Sani concluded by reiterating his desire to see the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Southern Kaduna and extended his gratitude to Senator Katung for championing this cause.
