According to ELANZANEWS, a petrol tanker exploded early this morning, prompting local residents to attempt to scoop up the spilled fuel. Tragically, many individuals were burnt to death, and others suffered severe injuries.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago labeled the incident as worrisome, heartbreaking, and unfortunate. He extended his condolences to the victims’ families and prayed for the souls of the deceased while wishing for a swift recovery for the injured.

The Governor urged the community to prioritize safety and act responsibly. He has also instructed relevant Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to take necessary actions while calling on security forces to enhance safety measures in the area.
