The Caleb Danladi Foundation has provided humanitarian support to over 1,000 widows, retired pastors and retired imams across three local government areas of Kaduna State.

The end-of-year outreach covered Jaba, Jama’a and Kagarko LGAs, targeting vulnerable households and promoting peaceful coexistence among Christian and Muslim communities.

No fewer than 1,050 bags of rice were distributed to beneficiaries to boost food security during the festive season.

In a further intervention, 200 women were enrolled into the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority to improve access to affordable healthcare.

Speaking at the event, the Founder, Capt. Dr. Caleb Danladi, said the initiative was part of the Foundation’s long-term commitment to restoring dignity and strengthening livelihoods.

He said empowerment must go beyond charity, urging beneficiaries to embrace discipline, integrity and innovation in sustaining their small businesses amid economic pressures.

Danladi disclosed that 15 women and 105 retirees, including clerics, received financial support to establish or expand small-scale enterprises.

A free medical outreach was also conducted, with beneficiaries receiving consultations and basic healthcare services.

The Foundation commended the Director-General of KADCHMA, Mallam Abubakar Hassan, for supporting the programme, noting that five additional women in Jaba LGA were empowered through the scheme.

Traditional and religious leaders, local government officials, youth leaders and civil society groups attended the event, which also featured goodwill messages and prayers.

The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to women empowerment, healthcare access and inclusive community development across Kaduna State.
