In a startling revelation, the former Osun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Adebayo Adeleke, has asserted that Mr Rauf Aregbesola, the former Minister of Interior, does not hold membership within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adeleke, who previously served under ex-governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s administration and is now the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, made this declaration during the Osun Central Senatorial assembly of the APC in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.

During the assembly, attended by prominent APC figures including Senator Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary, and luminaries from the ten local government areas constituting the senatorial district, Adeleke emphasised that the prominent figures within the Osun APC realm are Chief Bisi Akande and Oyetola.

In a definitive statement, Adeleke underscored, “It is common knowledge among dedicated party members in Osun that Aregbesola does not currently hold affiliation with our esteemed party.”
