The Federal Cooperative College, Orji- River in Anambara state has embarked on training of 100 beneficiaries from the North- Central on Vocational Skill Development, Small Scale Business Holders in Ankpa , Kogi state for the North Central State.

The three day event held between Wednesday and Friday was carried out simultaneously in the six states in the zone which included Kogi , Niger , Benue , Kwara, and Nassarawa states.

The North- Central empowerment program held in Ankpa was facilitated by the former Director General , National Productivity Centre, NPC, Dr Kashim Akor , FNIM, NPOM.

The three day event attracted people from all walks of life with consultants on various empowerment program present at the occasion.

The organisers/consultant for the North -Central Ankpa event was “Lanum International Services Limited” which took participants through the intricacies of Vocational and Skill Development, Small Scale Businesses which was practicalised through repeated activities.

The participants at the end of the program were giving 100,OOO thousand Naira each, as starter pack for the business.
