The Federal Government has published a list of 48 individuals and groups allegedly linked to terrorism financing, including high-profile figures linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Ansaru.

The Nigeria Sanctions Committee (NIGSAC) released the names on Saturday, identifying suspects believed to be involved in funding terrorist activities across the country.

Among those named are Simon Ekpa, a controversial Biafra agitator, and Tukur Mamu, a well-known Kaduna-based publisher. The list also includes separatist group IPOB, alongside Ansaru and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).

Authorities say the designation forms part of a broader crackdown on financial networks supporting insurgency and violent extremism in Nigeria.
