The forthcoming 2023/24 season will witness Dessers, a 28-year-old forward, donning the Rangers jersey as the club’s sixth acquisition during the summer transfer window.

With an extensive career in European football, the talented Belgian-born player brings a wealth of experience to his new team, having previously competed in renowned leagues.

Dessers showcased his skills in Serie A last season, but his journey encompasses much more.

He has contributed to the Belgian Pro-League by playing for OH Leuven, Lokeren, and Genk. Additionally, he has made his mark in Dutch football, having featured for Utrecht, Heracles Almelo, and Feyenoord.

Notably, Dessers achieved recognition during his time at Feyenoord in the 2021/22 season.

His impressive goal-scoring abilities led to him being crowned the top scorer of the UEFA Europa Conference League, with an impressive tally of 10 goals.

Consequently, he earned a well-deserved spot in the competition’s team of the season.

As an international player, Dessers proudly represents the Super Eagles, having earned four caps for the Nigerian national team.

His skill set and experience make him a valuable addition to Rangers’ squad.

Expressing his delight after finalizing the move to Rangers, Dessers shared his thoughts, stating, “I am truly ecstatic.
