As our Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria and around the world celebrate this year’s Eid al-Kabir, I, Captain Caleb Danladi Bako, on behalf of the Caleb Danladi Foundation, extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes of peace, joy, and spiritual renewal to all members of the Muslim community.
Eid al-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is more than a time of celebration — it is a profound reminder of the virtues of faith, devotion, sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering obedience to God as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). These values resonate deeply with the mission of our foundation and the hopes of building a harmonious and united society.
This sacred occasion also calls us to reflect on the importance of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic background. At a time when mutual respect and understanding are essential for our collective well-being, we urge everyone to embrace these principles and foster a spirit of compassion and fellowship.
As we commemorate the spirit of sacrifice, let us renew our commitment to supporting one another, promoting goodwill, and contributing positively to the growth and harmony of our communities. In the true spirit of Eid, may we continue to extend kindness and generosity to those around us and strengthen the bonds that unite us.
May this Eid bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, renewed hope, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Eid Mubarak!
Signed:
Captain Caleb Danladi Bako
