sThe Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, just hours after he was convicted and sentenced to 75 years in prison for diverting N33.8 billion intended for the Zungeru and Mambilla hydroelectric power projects.

Mamman, who had been on the run, was apprehended at approximately 3:30 am on Wednesday in Kaduna State. Two individuals found protecting him at the property were also taken into custody. Authorities have since cordoned off the residence for further investigation.
