According to Mr Sam Olumekun, the National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee at INEC, all 17 political parties have successfully submitted their candidates’ nomination forms before the deadline of March 24, signaling a keen interest in the electoral process.
The Personal Particulars of Candidates: On March 30, in accordance with Section 29(3) of the Electoral Act, 2022, INEC will publish the personal particulars of all candidates and their running mates.
These details will include academic credentials and other relevant documents, providing voters with crucial information ahead of the election.
