Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, has delivered a sharp warning to members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who are considering switching their allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In his statement, Oshiomhole made it clear that the era of playing both sides for personal gain has come to an end.

He advised those contemplating a move to stick with their current party and its gubernatorial candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and warned that there would be no benefits for fence-sitters who attempt to change sides after the election.

“No More Playing Both Sides”
In a video widely shared on social media, Oshiomhole stressed, “You can no longer support Asue Ighodalo while expecting to gain from both sides.

Those days are behind us. Remain loyal to your current political allies, as our camp does not welcome those who hesitate between loyalties. Your time is up.”

He further elaborated, warning that those who shift their loyalty after the election will not be accommodated by the APC. “If you plan to defect after the results are out, stay with your choice. We are not here to entertain fence-sitters or opportunists.”
