The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, has called on Nigerians to embrace religious harmony, peace, and national unity as Christians across the country celebrate Easter.

In an Easter goodwill message issued on Sunday, Mark said the season represents sacrifice, hope, renewal, and victory of light over darkness, urging citizens to reflect on the virtues of love, selflessness, and forgiveness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
He stressed the need for Nigerians, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations, to promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect, noting that the nation’s diversity should be a source of strength rather than division.

Mark also appealed to citizens to remain calm and law-abiding, emphasizing the importance of sustaining peace and stability in the country.

The ADC chairman used the occasion to reassure Nigerians that the party remains strong, united, and unshaken despite recent challenges.

According to him, the temporary setbacks have only strengthened the party’s resolve and deepened its commitment to democratic ideals and good governance.

Senator Mark said he is committed to the ideals of democracy and would lead ADC to victory in 2027 .

He reiterated that the ADC is committed to enthroning democratic ethos, upholding the rule of law, and providing purposeful leadership that will address the needs and aspirations of Nigerians.
Mark expressed optimism that the Easter celebration would inspire renewed faith and hope for a better future for the country.
He wished all Christians a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration.
