An Abia State All Progressives Congress chieftain, Apostle Chuks Alozie, has urged Christians in Nigeria and across the world to embrace kindness, justice and equality as pathways to sustainable community development.
In his Easter message on Sunday, Alozie said the season symbolises sacrifice, love and redemption, calling on the faithful to reflect deeply on its significance.
He noted that the story of Easter remained a powerful reminder of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the need for believers to draw inspiration from His teachings.
According to him, “The story of Easter reminds us of the power of sacrifice, love and redemption. As we reflect on the ultimate gift of Christ, let us draw inspiration from His teachings of compassion, forgiveness and service to others.
“May we strive to build a community that values kindness, justice and equality.”
The APC chieftain added that the Easter season should unite Christians and inspire collective efforts towards building a better society.
He also commended healthcare workers, teachers and other essential service providers for their dedication to duty.
“This Easter season brings us closer together as a community. May we continue to work towards a brighter future for all.
“I would like to thank our healthcare workers, teachers and all essential workers who continue to serve tirelessly. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.
“Let us also remember those who are less fortunate and find ways to spread love and kindness in our communities,” he said.
Alozie, while wishing Christians a joyful Easter celebration, prayed for God’s blessings upon communities in Abia State and Nigeria at large, urging them to uphold peace, love and unity in line with the teachings of Christ.
