During a guided tour of the construction site in Takum, General Danjuma assessed the progress and quality of work alongside the council chairman. He expressed satisfaction with both the pace and standard of the development, describing it as evidence of purposeful leadership and a clear vision for economic transformation.

Chairman Benjamin reaffirmed his administration’s focus on people-centred projects, stating that the market—once completed—will offer a conducive trading environment, boost local commerce, and drive economic growth across Takum and beyond.

The Ultra-Modern Market remains a flagship initiative aimed at modernising commercial infrastructure, improving revenue generation, and attracting investment.
