CITN Inducts FCT DRTS Gwarinpa Area Commander, Others

The Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria, during its 2023 National Transport Summit at the prestigious Nicon Luxury Hotels, inducted Gwarinpa DRTS Area Commander, Mr. Jonathan John Dawa, alongside other distinguished personalities.

Hailing from Kaduna State, the Area Commander has distinguished himself as a dedicated and committed transport expert, particularly in his role as a Vehicle Inspection Officer.

Among the inductees were FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Minister of Blue Marine Economy Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo, Minister of Works Engr Dave Umahi, and others.

Area Commander Jonathan John Dawa described his induction as a recognition of his hard work and sacrifices in the transport sector. He emphasized his commitment to researching and improving transport techniques and initiatives across various transport systems in the country.

Expressing gratitude to the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration of Nigeria, he dedicated his induction to Dr. Lateef Bello, the DRTS boss, his colleagues, and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

With this induction, the DRTS Gwarinpa Area Commander is now a fellow of the institute. The institute, through its annual summits, has played a crucial role in reshaping expertise in transport skills and professionalism, redefining transport policies in the country and earning confidence from government agencies and the private sector.

Former Area Commander of Kugbo Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre and Maitama, where he received meritorious awards on traffic management, Mr. Jonathan John Dawa was felicitated by Drts area and zonal commanders for his induction as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration in Nigeria.
