The dilapidated road has been a major concern for commuters, especially after the collapse of the Tsoriang bridge which the Governor has earlier approved for construction.

The Governor, according to Sen Katung, has also instructed the Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA) to construct an alternative bridge, ensuring that communities have access to their destinations.

Elanza News reports that this 18.5km road plays a crucial role, connecting numerous communities across three Local Government Areas in Southern Kaduna.

Senator Katung expressed gratitude to the Governor for prioritizing the needs of the people and swiftly responding to their request for road reconstruction.

“I am committed to working hand in hand with the Government at all levels to foster the growth and development of our Senatorial District,” Senator Katung added.

Stay tuned for further updates on this significant infrastructure development in Kaduna State.
