Pere Egbi, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, says he would rather sit down with the devil than Alex Asogwa, his colleague.
Pere and Alex participated in the just concluded BBNaija All Stars season.
During the show, the ex-housemates were involved in several conflicts, including an incident where Pere aggressively flipped a mattress at Alex, resulting in both receiving strikes for violating Big Brother’s rule.
In a post-show interview with Miracle OP, a reality TV star, Pere was asked if he would ever make peace with Alex.
In his response, he rejected the idea of a face-to-face conversation with her.
He said that he would prefer sitting down with the devil over having a conversation with her.
He added that there are “no grudges” but he just wants everyone to maintain their distance and avoid direct interactions with him.
“I do not want a sit-down, I would avoid a sit-down. Even if Jesus came and said sit down, I will tell Jesus to bring someone else who I offended, someone else who had a squabble with me,” he said.
“I would rather sit down with the devil before I sit down with Alex and that is how much I do not want a sit-down, let everyone stay where they are at. Just avoid me, no grudges, I just do not have that energy.”
