MultiChoice Nigeria has announced plans to begin auditions for the eleventh edition of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the organisers announced that this year’s audition process will be in person, adding that interested participants must register between May 16 and 20 to qualify.

MultiChoice said the audition is free and open only to persons aged 21 and above with a valid means of identification.

They added that there are “limited slots” available for the audition, and the “registration portal closes at maximum capacity”.

The organisers further disclosed that after registration, successful applicants would receive a confirmation email for the physical auditions scheduled to be held from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.

The reality TV show returned to physical auditions for its 2025 tenth edition after six years of holding the process virtually.

For the tenth season, the organisers combined both formats, beginning with online submissions before conducting physical screenings in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.

The fourth season in 2019 marked the first time online auditions were introduced to accommodate aspiring contestants who could not attend physical venues.

Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, won the last edition on October 5, 2025.

She defeated 28 other housemates to claim the grand prize valued at N150 million, including ₦80 million cash and an SUV.
