In a statement issued on Friday, Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, confirmed that the rescheduled exercise will begin with House of Representatives primaries on 18 May.

Senate primaries are set for 19 May, while House of Assembly primaries will follow on 20 May. The governorship primary is scheduled for 21 May, and the presidential primary for 23 May.

The party also outlined a structured appeals process: appeals from the House of Representatives primaries will be heard on 19 May, Senate appeals on 20 May, House of Assembly appeals on 21 May, and governorship appeals on 22 May.

The APC had previously postponed its House of Representatives primaries nationwide to 16 May, while maintaining that other primary dates remained unchanged.
