The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its House of Representatives primary election to Saturday, May 16.
The exercise, originally scheduled for Friday, May 15, forms part of the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, announced the adjustment in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja.
“Previously announced dates for Senate, State Assembly, governorship, and presidential primaries remain unchanged,” Morka said.
He confirmed that the revised timetable would proceed as follows:
· House of Representatives – Saturday, May 16
· Senate – Monday, May 18
· State House of Assembly – Wednesday, May 20
· Governorship – Thursday, May 21
· Presidential – Saturday, May 23, 2026
