A statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the chairman’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsley Madaki, confirmed the development.

Mr Madaki noted that the dissolution affects the council secretary, all supervisory councillors, special advisers, senior special assistants, and personal assistants.

He added that Mr Maikalangu expressed gratitude to the outgoing officials for their dedication, hard work, and service to the council’s development. The chairman also commended their contributions to the administration’s achievements and wished them well in future endeavours.

All affected appointees have been directed to hand over council property and official documents in their possession to the head of administration or the most senior career officer in their respective departments without delay.

The statement was sourced from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
