The initiative, according to the lawmaker, is aimed at supporting rural farmers, boosting agricultural productivity, and strengthening food security in the region.

In a statement made available to journalists on Friday, Zock said the intervention was part of his continued efforts to empower constituents, especially those in the agricultural sector who form the backbone of the local economy.

“It is with great pleasure that I announce the flag-off of the distribution of 12 trucks of fertilizers to the good people of Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency,” Zock stated.

“This initiative is designed to support our hardworking farmers, boost agricultural productivity, and enhance food security in our constituency.”

He said the fertilizers would go a long way in improving crop yields, increasing farmers’ income, and contributing significantly to economic growth in the area.

“As a representative of the people, I remain committed to promoting rural development, and this is one of many steps we are taking to ensure our farmers get the necessary support to thrive,” he added.

The flag-off ceremony is scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: Thursday, July 17, 2025
Venue: Kurmin Musa
Time: 10:00am

Hon. Zock, who doubles as Chairman of the House Committee on Culture, called on stakeholders, farmers, and traditional leaders to participate in the event, which he described as a “milestone in the constituency’s agricultural journey.”
