Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa have conveyed their confidence in the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

At a meeting of party executives held in Hong on Tuesday, the stakeholders committed to supporting the president’s re-election in 2027, aiming for the further distribution of democratic dividends.

Mr Salihu Mustapha, the North-East Zonal Vice-Chairman of the APC, explained that the meeting was designed to enhance awareness among the executives, ensuring solidarity and advancement of the party both in the state and across the nation.

Mustapha remarked that the party, under Tinubu’s guidance, had achieved remarkable successes that have positively influenced the country. Among these successes he mentioned were the introduction of a N70,000 minimum wage, payment of outstanding arrears, local government autonomy, the elimination of the fuel subsidy, and ongoing efforts to combat corruption.

Mr Yusuf Captain-Buba, Chairman of the Reconciliation and Reposition Committee for Adamawa Central Zone, also commended Tinubu for his significant contributions to economic recovery and agricultural transformation.

“With these and other achievements that we cannot list here, we therefore affirm our confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for their role in addressing the insecurity plaguing various parts of the country,” he remarked.

Captain-Buba further stated that his committee’s mandate is to reconcile disgruntled party members, mobilise the electorate, reclaim the governorship, and support Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027.
