The Coordinator Conference of Patriotic Nigerians  Editor (COPAN), Barrister Uchenna Odieli, has praised Nigeria’s Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammed Goronyo, for his relentless commitment to infrastructure development.

In a statement issued to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, Odieli lauded Goronyo’s frequent project site visits and meticulous supervision, describing them as a clear signal that excellence is non-negotiable.

Odieli noted that contractors now face a proactive leader who demands progress and understands the terrain, replacing distant authority with passionate oversight.

This shift has energised construction sites across Nigeria, with workers taking pride in contributing to a vision led by a minister who leads from the front.

Goronyo’s approach, Odieli said, is inspiring a “national rebirth” among contractors, urging them to see their work on highways, bridges, and urban upgrades as vital to commerce, connectivity, and community upliftment.

The minister’s unannounced site visits and focus on quality delivery reflect a partnership, not mere scrutiny, Odieli added.

He called on contractors to match the government’s commitment with professional excellence, emphasising innovation, speed, and durability in their work.

“The era of mediocrity is over,” Odieli declared, urging contractors to leave a lasting mark of excellence in every project.

Goronyo’s proactive stance—tracking progress, engaging communities, and enforcing accountability—is creating a ripple effect across all projects under his watch.

Odieli described the minister as a “co-architect” of a better Nigeria, redefining public service and setting a high standard for nation-building.
