McPherson University, located in Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, has once again solidified its position as a leading and rapidly growing educational institution in Nigeria.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) recently released the results of the October/November 2023 Accreditation of Academic Programmes in Nigerian Universities, and all seven academic programmes presented by the University received full accreditation with outstanding scores.
In a statement released by the Executive Secretary of NUC, the University was commended for its commitment to providing high-quality education that instills godly virtues and fosters leadership and positive impact in society.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francis Igbasan, expressed his gratitude to the entire University community and attributed the success to the grace of God, the dedication of faculty members and staff, and the availability of state-of-the-art resources and facilities for learning, teaching, and research.
While acknowledging the achievements, Professor Igbasan emphasized the need to continue striving for excellence and urged everyone to work together in positioning the Institution for even greater success. He stated, “We cannot afford to be complacent as there is still more work to be done.”
The seven additional programmes that received full accreditation from NUC are Medical Laboratory Science, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Mass Communication. The accreditation for each programme is valid until 2028.
With this latest round of accreditation, all academic programmes at McPherson University are now fully accredited, further solidifying its reputation as a premier institution of higher learning.
