While acknowledging Fubara’s role as governor, Abe suggested that true political leadership must be earned through the consolidation of trust and bringing people together.

Abe drew parallels to historical figures like Aminu Kano, who despite not holding official titles, commanded political influence and leadership in their respective regions.

He underscored the importance of trust and unity in achieving genuine leadership status.

Reflecting on his own political journey, Abe expressed reconciliation with Fubara and the resolution of past conflicts with other political figures. He highlighted the fluidity of political alliances and dynamics, particularly in the run-up to the 2023 elections.
