In a bid to foster progress in Anambra, Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has highlighted the need for the state to align with the APC, attributing its stagnation to continuous governance under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Speaking at a colloquium organized by the Southeast chapter of APC in Nnewi, Ganduje emphasized the potential benefits Anambra could enjoy by joining the APC, urging the state to depart from APGA’s political trajectory for a brighter future.

Ganduje underscored the importance of political realignment in Anambra, suggesting that the state’s affiliation with the APC could pave the way for enhanced development and prosperity.

Recognizing the significance of Anambra’s integration into national politics, Ganduje highlighted the need for the state to actively engage with the ruling party to secure essential infrastructure and other benefits.

Ganduje lauded the entrepreneurial spirit of the Igbo people, emphasising the potential for economic empowerment and growth through collaboration with the APC.

By advocating for Anambra’s involvement in the APC, Ganduje stressed the importance of being at the negotiating table to advocate for the state’s interests and ensure adequate representation in national affairs.

Ganduje pointed out the limitations of APGA’s governance in Anambra, citing the party’s failure to expand and deliver substantial progress over the years.
