As the ink dried on the accord during a solemn ceremony in Lafia on Monday, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, the State Commissioner of Police, sternly pledged to take decisive actions against those instigating turmoil surrounding the impending judgement.

Emphasizing the significance of maintaining tranquility, CP Nadada called upon party leaders to disseminate this peace commitment to their followers throughout the state.

Unyielding Resolve for Peace: CP Nadada affirmed the commitment of a joint security committee to collaboratively strive for enduring peace within the state.

A stern caution was issued against individuals, irrespective of their societal stature, contemplating disruptive actions.

The CP urged potential troublemakers to reconsider their plans, highlighting intelligence about faceless entities plotting violent protests.

Both the APC and PDP received assurances from CP Nadada that the joint security forces would maintain impartiality in their operations.

In a gathering witnessed by various security agencies in Nasarawa, the APC’s representation included Aliyu Bello, the state chairman, and Yarus Dakusa, the state secretary.

The PDP’s delegation comprised Yahaya Bunu, the state organizing secretary, Adamu Bako, the state secretary, Hon. Stella Oboshi, the woman leader, and Isa Sule, the zonal chairman.
