NPHCDA Warns State Governors On Access To Basic Healthcare For All

National Primary Healthcare Development Agency ( NPHCDA) has called on the state Governors to make more investment for Health and also collaborate with Agency and it’s policies to achieve access to Basic Healthcare for all citizens.

The Executive Director NPHCDA Dr Faisal Shuaibu made the call when he paid a courtesy visit to Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadii at Dutse Government House.

He said, the NPHCDA is a gatekeeper and Health policy promoter while state are the implementors, therefore there is utmost need for all the state government and their Health agencies to be in the same page for achieving the desire goals.

“We provide Vaccines for routine, periodic, and other special circumstance Immunization, Technical support, Basic Health Care provision Fund and other infrastructures and financial interventions to ensure state have what it requires to facilitate access to basic healthcare services affordable and accessible to all”

“The State governors must wakeup and deliver their own mandate, failure to do that, all national effort will be in vain, while national growth and development will be nip in the bud.’ ED Warns

The Executive Director expressed gratitude to Governor Mallam Umar A. Namadi for his unwavering commitment to improving healthcare delivery within the state and reaffirmed the NPHCDA’s dedication to working closely with the state government to achieve desire goals.

In his response the state Governor Malam Umaru Namadi commended the NPHCDA’s efforts in promoting access to quality and affordable basic healthcare services to all people irrespective of socio- economic status or geographical location.

” Access to basic healthcare services, child vaccination, promoting Nutrition, personal and environmental are key for growth and sustainable development, therefore we in Jigawa we will not relent our efforts to collaborate with NPHCDA, Partners other individual and organisation that incanted interest in ensuring our people receive best healthcare services” Goverror Namadi Stated
