Responding to the appeal for further membership drive in Illela Local Government, the APC leader of Illela, Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Sarkin Alaru, said they are pleased for the opportunity to have been so honoured.

In his advise to the City Boy Movement at the Ajiyan Sokoto Senate Coordination Secretariat, Alhaji Nasiru Wamban Isa appealed to youths across the State to come out enmass and

According to Mansur, the time has come for youths to really come up to be counted as deciders of the nation’s political direction rather than being used as mere tools.

“And in recognition of this fact, son of the President, Barrister Seyi Bola Ahmed Tinubu graciously initiated the City Boy Movement to be a youth led sensitization and mobilization arm of the All Progressive Congress (APC) political sojourn.

“This movement, in essence goes beyond President Tinubu’s 2027 reelection bid. It is undoubtedly a strong foundation for youth inclusivity. As it is giving the youths andll women voices and determination advantage being the greatest voting bloc”. Alhaji Mansur Ibrahim disclosed.

Prior to the massive membership drive, a statement by the City Boy Movement in Sokoto, had divulged that it is the single largest grassroots support network which focuses on engagenent for development, unity and progress.

“At present, the movement has established a comprehensive organizational structure comprising 45 Zonal Coordinators, more than 100 Directors, 23 LGA Coordinators, Youth Wing and Women Wing, alongside an extensive network of ward and polling-unit coordinators.

The Youth and Women Wings each operate with 12 members in their respective offices, supported by 244 Ward Coordinators each, giving a combined 488 ward-level coordinators across both wings.
