Declared winner across the district’s eight local government areas, Katung appealed to aggrieved aspirants and their supporters to rally behind the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking from his country home in Madakiya, Zangon Kataf, he described the win as a collective achievement driven by resilience, teamwork, and grassroots mobilisation. He thanked stakeholders, elected officials, and APC members across Southern Kaduna for their steadfast support.

“This project belongs to all of us. It is not my personal project alone,” he said. “Everyone took ownership of it and worked tirelessly for its success.”

Katung stressed that the primary underscored the value of unity and collective participation, adding: “If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go with people.”

He called for immediate reconciliation among aspirants, insisting the APC must remain united. The senator also emphasised that Southern Kaduna’s development vision depends on inclusiveness and cooperation—even with those outside the party.

Katung praised women leaders for their dedication and grassroots efforts, and urged massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani ahead of 2027. He described Governor Sani as one of the country’s most inclusive leaders, noting his fairness and recognition of Southern Kaduna.

“We are determined to work together to ensure victory for all APC candidates—from the presidency to the National and State Assemblies,” Katung said.

He called on party members to sustain peace and embrace reconciliation, warning that only a united APC can secure future electoral success.
