Nollywood actress Adebimpe “Mo Bimpe” Oyebade has dismissed viral AI-generated photographs that falsely claim to depict her triplet boys with husband Lateef Adedimeji.
The couple recently welcomed their long-awaited triplets five years after marriage, a development that generated considerable excitement among fans and followers. However, following the announcement, several images circulated online were mistakenly identified as featuring the couple’s new babies.
In an Instagram story, Oyebade clarified that the viral images were not of her children. She urged followers and the media to cease sharing the AI-generated photographs and promised to release authentic pictures of the triplets shortly.
“Dear bloggers, fans and lovers: thank you so much for the love for us and the Etas, but please enough with the AI pictures now!” she wrote. “We’ll share @etawithlove pictures soon. All the baby’s pictures flying around aren’t our babies, please.”
The couple, who married in December 2021, recently celebrated the arrival of their sons with a naming ceremony. The triplets were named Abdulrahman, Abdulraheem, and Abdulrakeeb.
Throughout their journey to parenthood, the couple has faced online criticism. Adedimeji previously revealed that some critics mocked his wife for years before the children’s arrival. Despite the harsh words, he remained supportive, urging her to ignore the negativity.
“We’ll be fine,” he said. “When it’s time, what will be will be.”
