Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has designated Emmanuel Bello as the official spokesman for his 2027 gubernatorial re-election campaign.
The appointment was confirmed in a statement issued by the Director-General of the Kefas Campaign Organisation, Danladi Baido.
A veteran journalist, Bello brings extensive communications expertise to the role, having twice served as Commissioner for Information in Taraba. His media career began with Daily Trust and includes notable stints at Leadership, THISDAY, and, most recently, ARISE News. He currently serves as Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communications to Governor Kefas—a role he will retain alongside his new campaign responsibilities.
Bello’s appointment signals a strategic push to fortify the governor’s media engagement as the administration gears up for the forthcoming electoral contest.
