The Movement formerly known as the Labour Party Patriotic Members Congress LPPMC which stood out in the build up to the 2023 General Elections and was the energy and the electricity that drove the monstrous following of Candidate Peter Gregory Obi across the Six Geopolitical Zones in the 2023 General election has endorsed the Coalition of well meaning and public spirited Nigerians to salvage Nigeria from the rudderless and uneventful watch of the All Progressive Congress APC.
The LPPMC which is presently known as the LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE AND PATRIOTIC MEMBERS CONGRESS led by Dr. Kingsley Okundaye who functions as the National Coordinator, Arc. Folu Bademosi the Deputy National Coordinator, and Elder Yusuf Solomon Danbaki the National Secretary, for and on behalf of the teaming members of the Congress across the Country are unequivocally committed to the Coalition of credible political forces for the redemption of our Dear Country. The Congress is ready, willing, able and committed to deploy her structures across the 6 Geopolitical Zones, across the 36 States and the FCT Abuja, and across the 774 Local Government Areas of the country in support of the Coalition, and in pursuit of the ideals of responsible and responsive governance. “LPPMC shall deploy our monstrous followership and material resources in the defense of democracy, and we shall work with like-minded patriots and Progressives to ensure that democracy works for the masses of our Country” were the salient words of Dr. Kingsley Okundaye in one of the Zonal Engagements of the Congress.
In a very recent interaction with Arc. Folu Bademosi the Deputy National Coordinator of LPPMC, he was definite about the chances of the coalition to rest power from the APC come 2027, in his words, “…the LPPMC shall deploy both human and material resources in support of any ideological coalition channeled at taking power through the ballot and making leadership answerable to the People. The Congress whilst supporting the Coalition shall continue to insist that our quest for power come 2027 must be people oriented”.
“The broad-based coalition that we support must be people centred and
policy driven. It must be entirely different from the present order where leaders have refused to be accountable and responsible to the people. We shall mobilize our structures in support of the effort of genuine progressives to redeem and rescue the nation”, were the words of the National Secretary of LPPMC Elder Yusuf Solomon Danbaki.
“The call for a Republic where leadership is people driven, where democracy works for the greater good, and where the people are alive to the challenge of making those who wield political power answerwable to them is the unalterable commitment of LPPMC across the Country, and we shall stop at nothing in advancing this cause as we work with the Coalition in defense of democracy and in pursuit of a new Dawn for our people come 2027″, this according to the LPPMC National Coordinator Dr. Kingsley Okundaye is the mission of the Congress.
Our Dear nation and those who occupy leadership positions whether in government or in the opposition must embrace and internalize the progressive and the patriotic ideals that stand LPPMC out as a credible vehicle for nation building, and a beacon light of hope for a nation in dire need of redemption.
As the LPPMC and the team of genuine Progressives coalesce into a formidable redemptive force, we wish Nigeria well, and we pray for our Democracy to grow in leaps and bounds.
