The candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Dauda Lawal is leading the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, the in the three Local Government Areas so far declared.

You would recall that the candidate of APC is the current Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Mohammed Bello Matawale.

However, three LGs out of 14 LGs so far announced.
