Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said that the numerous challenges confronting humanity cannot be solved by human efforts alone, insisting that the world needs the power of God to find lasting solutions.

Kumuyi stated this on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking with journalists shortly after arriving at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport ahead of the 2026 edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi.

The crusade will hold from June 24 to 25 at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Kado, Abuja, before moving to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium from June 26 to 29.

The renowned cleric said although people often make ambitious plans and pursue lofty goals, ultimate answers to life’s problems come from God.

“What God has done is truly remarkable. As human beings, when we pray, we pray with faith, confidence and assurance. However, we are not the ones who answer our prayers; the answers come from God,” he said.

According to him, the impact of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi over the years has demonstrated God’s power through transformed lives, restored families and testimonies of healing.

He said many young people had been redirected from destructive lifestyles, while individuals battling drug addiction and mental health challenges had experienced deliverance through divine intervention.

“We may dream big, plan big and speak big, but ultimately, it is the Lord who answers our prayers. Over the years, we have witnessed countless lives transformed,” Kumuyi added.

The cleric noted that the crusade’s influence had extended beyond Nigeria to several countries across Africa, Asia, North America and South America.

He maintained that the success of the programme was not attributable to any individual but to God’s grace and power.

“As I have always said, this is God’s work. It is not about any individual, nor is it a one-man show. What can any man achieve on his own in the face of the countless challenges confronting our world today?” he asked.

Kumuyi also urged leaders and policymakers to listen to truth and act on it for the benefit of society.

“Our prayer is that God will enable our leaders, policymakers and all participants to hear exactly what they need to hear and help them to act on those truths,” he said.

He expressed optimism that God would provide answers to the social, economic and political challenges facing nations across the world.

Earlier, the State Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Federal Capital Territory, Pastor Edison Daminabo, said the world was increasingly troubled by conflicts, divisions and uncertainty.

He said the theme of the crusade, “Only Working Power,” reflected humanity’s search for genuine solutions capable of restoring peace, unity and progress.

Daminabo added that extraordinary commitment, wisdom and leadership were needed to tackle the challenges facing societies across the globe.
