In a resolute move for the upcoming year, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reiterated the party’s commitment to securing victory in state elections, aiming for an increase in governors and legislators.
Embarking on a strategic approach, the party is gearing up for off-season elections in Edo, Anambra, and Ondo, alongside imminent byelections and return polls nationwide.
This proactive stance goes beyond election cycles, establishing the APC as a dynamic force throughout the entire year.
Ganduje emphasized the party’s blueprint, focusing on bolstering the number of legislators, governors, and state House of Assemblies.
Contrary to the norm, the APC aims to remain active beyond election periods, mirroring developed democracies where political institutions play a continuous role in governance.
Beyond elections, political parties serve as platforms for recruitment, progress reporting, and manifesto evaluations.
Ganduje’s vision aligns with fostering Renewed Hope, providing a holistic assessment of the government’s performance.
During a tour of ongoing renovations at the national secretariat, including the media centre, Dr. Ganduje unveiled plans for swift project completion.
Modern communication equipment will be integrated into the media centre, ensuring seamless live coverage of party activities.
The revamped facilities showcase a forward-looking approach, introducing a new church, shops to curb street hawking, and improved drainage.
Ganduje envisions a technologically advanced media centre, urging a shift from analogue to a digital platform for enhanced communication with media outlets.
