In a world where digital deception runs rampant, individuals like Mrs. Delu Bulus Yakubu, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nominee coordinator of the National Social Investment Programmes Agency (NSIPA), are taking a stand against online fraudsters.

The mission is clear – to safeguard the unsuspecting public from falling prey to cybercriminals who impersonate her on Twitter.

In an exclusive interview, Mrs. Bulus raised the alarm about a fake Twitter account that bears her name.

She emphasized the importance of alerting the general public to this malicious act, where scammers exploit social media platforms to swindle innocent individuals.

A Dangerous Ruse: False Promises of N-Power Financial Empowerment
One of the distressing aspects of this impersonation is the scammer’s audacity to request bank account details from unsuspecting victims, all under the guise of N-Power financial empowerment.

Mrs. Bulus expressed her deep concern, highlighting a particularly alarming incident in Dumne, a community in the Song Local Government area of Adamawa state.

In Dumne, these unscrupulous individuals are collecting five hundred naira from members of the public, promising them access to an empowerment program set to take place soon.

This exploitation not only preys on the vulnerable but also tarnishes Mrs. Bulus’s reputation and integrity.

With heartfelt concern, Mrs. Bulus urges all citizens, particularly social media users, to exercise vigilance when encountering any account bearing her name.

She implores them to steer clear of such accounts to avoid falling victim to the fraudsters’ cunning tactics, emphasizing that she has no involvement in these deceitful activities.

Mrs. Bulus leaves no room for doubt – she warns all those involved in the illicit use of her name or any connection to her to cease their fraudulent activities immediately.

She makes it clear that the long arm of the law will catch up with them if they persist in their unlawful endeavors.

Join the Fight Against Impersonation
In a final plea, Mrs. Bulus calls upon the public to report any individuals using her name to defraud others.

She urges them to reach out to the nearest police station, security agency, or government official, thereby contributing to the collective effort to eliminate such scams.

It’s important to note that Mrs. Bulus was appointed by President Tinubu just a few weeks ago and is currently awaiting Senate screening to assume her role as the pioneer coordinator of the NSIPA.

Her dedication to eradicating online impersonation demonstrates her commitment to public welfare.

In a digital age where deception lurks behind every click, Mrs. Delu Bulus Yakubu emerges as a champion against online fraudsters.

By staying vigilant and reporting fraudulent activities, we can collectively protect ourselves and others from falling victim to these malicious schemes.

Together, we can maintain the integrity of online spaces and ensure a safer digital future for all.
