“On January 10, our troops, in a coordinated offensive supported by the Air Component of Operation Fansan Yamma, targeted and cleared several terrorist camps in the Fakai axis,” he reported.

Among the camps targeted were those led by notorious bandits Bello Turji and Mallam Ila, resulting in the neutralization of over 25 terrorists, with more than 18 others suffering gunshot wounds, creating a significant setback for the terrorist network.

Moreover, seven kidnapped individuals managed to escape from the terrorists’ camps during the operation.

Operation Fansan Yamma remains steadfast in its mission to pursue and eliminate all terrorist elements within its operational area.

The military coordinator issued a stern warning to all terrorist leaders and their accomplices, urging them to surrender and renounce violence unconditionally, as the troops are resolute in their commitment to eradicating these threats.

“We assure the public of our dedication to restoring peace and security in the affected communities,” he emphasized.
