President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made significant leadership appointments, naming board chairpersons for 42 federal organizations along with a secretary for the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services Board.
Additionally, a new managing director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation and a director-general for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) have been appointed.
In a statement released on Thursday by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu instructed the board chairpersons to refrain from interfering in the day-to-day management of their respective organizations, underscoring that their roles are non-executive.
These appointments are effective immediately.
