President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Muhammad Babangida, the son of former military leader General Ibrahim Babangida, as the new Chairman of the restructured Bank of Agriculture (BOA).

The President also named Hon. Yahuza Ado Inuwa from Kano State as Chairperson of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), while Sanusi Musa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Kano State, will assume the role of Chairperson of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).
Further appointments include Prof. Al-Mustapha Alhaji Aliyu from Sokoto State as Director-General of the Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA), Sanusi Garba Rikiji from Zamfara State as Director-General of the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTN), and Mrs. Tomi Somefun from Oyo State as Managing Director of the National Hydro-Electric Power Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC).
