The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Mr. Jibril Falgore, has declared that the future of democracy in Nigeria is very bright.

In a statement released on Wednesday by his media aide, Kamaluddeen Shawai, to mark the 2024 Democracy Day, Falgore emphasized the progress made since 1999.

“We have much to celebrate as we have come a long way since 1999,” Falgore said. “Despite significant challenges, we have leveraged our indigenous strengths to achieve worthy milestones, particularly in quality legislation and good governance.”
